About The Chatty Cat Cafe

A coffee shop and cafe that is also a foster home for adoptable rescue cats. Yes - real cats live here until they find their forever home.

Located inside The Colony Square Mall, We are a cozy and welcoming space where you can enjoy delicious coffee, perfectly toasted panini's and breakfast sandwiches, as well as the company of adorable cats looking for their forever homes in a separate cat lounge.

Our cat cafe doesn't just provide adoption services and great coffee, there are also therapeutic effects of spending time with our cats. Each time you visit our cafe you support and keep our rescue efforts going.

We are committed to the well being of every cat in our care, providing coffee and other drinks, apparel and other treats, to the idea that one day all animals can get a loving furever home.

About The Owner

I remember as a young girl, every year on my birthday for many years I had the same wish. As I closed my eyes and took my biggest breath, I closed my eyes SO tight and wished so badly, that I could have a cat of my very own. I have always had a huge heart for animals for as long as I can remember. I will never forget when all of my birthday wishes came true, and my very first cat, Kit-Kat found her way into my life. She was later joined by my next cat - Butterfinger "because of her peanut butter colored toes"

My love for animals has never faded, but continued to get stronger as I got older and felt connected to them. In 2019, I opened my very own non-profit 501c3 animal rescue where I would begin my journey fostering animals of all different needs, behaviors and walks of life. In just over 3 years we had rescued over 250 animals in need (primarily dogs) We did take cats in on occasion, there is such an overwhelming need for help with cats in our area. Day in day out running the dog rescue, we still continued to get multiple requests to help cats and kittens in need. I signed up to foster for a cat rescue in my area, and saw the need for exposure for adoptable feline companions. That is when I began to put together the idea of opening my very own cat cafe right in my hometown. I had to do something to help my fellow cat rescue friends find homes for their adoptable cats and kittens.

I am so thankful for this wonderful life guiding me to my calling and passion of rescuing animals. I am even more thankful to each and every one of you who has supported myself and these animals on our journey through life, many with amazing forever homes and a second chance thanks to the love of many people.
