We are open 7 days a week closing daily at 6pm - for cat lounge hours and availability be sure to reserve your spot using the reservation calendar as it has the most up to date hours including holidays and special events closings *Special Note for Cat Naps - we close daily from 2pm-3pm Monday-Saturday for Cat Naps to give the cats (and baristas) a much needed afternoon break!

We feel kiddos are an important part of the process of deciding which fur baby is going to join the family, and instead of an age requirement - we follow our “behavior requirement” This means kids of any age will be allowed into the cat lounge - with some VERY important details and focusing on making sure parents/guardians are present in the lounge and the cats continue to live in a low-stress environment and we are making sure all the rules are being followed The exception to this is our cat cafe after dark and other age limit cat lounge events which will list individually on the event any age requirements if applicable

The Chatty Cat Cafe is located inside the Colony Square Mall in Zanesville Ohio. We are just around the corner from the food court, across from Bath and Body Works. Closest options for parking would be either at the food court entrance near Cinemark, Or the front of the mall near the TJ Maxx entrance.

Unfortunately, No. This is the question (or statement) we hear the most. Usually it's a statement such as "I cant wait to come and bring my little Fluffy!". The Chatty Cat Cafe serves as a temporary home for cats and kittens who are waiting to be adopted. We make sure to only have the number of cats that can roam comfortably and stress-free in the space we have, we ensure all cafe cats are up-to date on vaccinations, and have been eased into the cat cafe environment. We cannot accommodate new, unfamiliar cats coming in and out of the cafe. This is for the protection (and sanity) of your cat(s) and the cafe cats.

Reservations are paws-itively the way to go! (Seriously, they’re required in advance if you're bringing anyone under 18) To keep the vibe chill for both our guests and our feline friends, we limit the cat lounge to 10 humans at a time. That’s not a lot of spots, and let’s face it, everyone wants to hang with the cats. Walk-ins? Sure, we’ll try, but availability is about as rare as a cat that loves belly rubs. It’s the same price as a reservation, and we really don’t want to see you sad if there’s no room. Do your future self a favor and book ahead to guarantee your cat-cuddle time! Not looking to lounge? No problem! Our café is open to the public, so you can still grab your favorite drink or snack to-go.
